• Students awarded Tempe Diablos Scholarships as high school seniors may reapply for continuing scholarships by demonstrating academic achievement, good citizenship and participation in Diablo Scholars activities.

    This scholarship may be renewed if all criteria are maintained and funds are available. For any year the Scholarship Office of the ASU Foundation will provide the Diablos with enrollment and grade info for the previous semester. If the student is meeting the criteria he/she will be automatically set up to receive the balance of the awarded scholarship amount in the coming semester contingent upon enrolling in a minimum of 12 credit hours for the upcoming semester or that amount of hours needed to reach a total of 24 for the year. Contact the University Scholarship Office prior to enrolling in the following semester to ascertain your standing.

    Qualifications for consideration of renewal are as follows:


    • Completion of 12 credit hours minimum each semester (and 24 total hours for the year) with a cumulative GPA 2.50 or higher.
    • Demonstrate the potential to continue their college career by remaining in good standing with the university and maintaining all scholarship criteria.
    • This scholarship is renewable for eight consecutive semesters commencing upon graduation from an eligible high school. Students who interrupt their education due to fulfillment of their military obligation may reapply when that service is concluded.


    • April 1 for the subsequent academic year. (May vary slightly from year to year.)


    • Up to $2000 for each of the next three (3) years.
