The Tempe Diablos and Arizona State University Men’s Tennis have partnered for the second annual Diablo College Tennis Invitational Presented by Dan Treon Law. The tournament on March 1-3, 2024, will feature eight of the nation’s top men’s college tennis teams. The teams will play a round robin style tournament at Kiwanis Tennis Center in Tempe.

The Venue

Kiwanis Tennis Center, located in Tempe’s beautiful 125- acre Kiwanis Park features 15 state-of-the-art lighted courts and is home to numerous local, regional and national tennis events. With excellent spectator viewing locations and exceptional proximity to the action, including the ability to walk between courts, the fan experience is outstanding. Located in the heart of Tempe as well as the entire Valley of the Sun, the venue is easily accessible to a broad range of Metro Phoenix.

The Fan Experience

The Diablos Tennis Invitational will be a thrilling, high-level event that will provide an exciting tennis experience to fans of all ages and tennis knowledge. The style and degree of tennis at the college level is fast-paced, and energetic. The team component provides an unmatched environment in sports where the players and fans vigorously root on their players.

Further, the proximity of the players to the fans at Kiwanis Tennis Center is outstanding. Food and beverage will be excellent, with a variety of local restaurant operators and food trucks on hand to provide a diverse range of delicious & tempting local fare.

Given the excellent venue, the fan proximity to the action and the outstanding spring weather in Tempe, the experience is one that fans will want to repeat year after year. Moreover, with limited tennis options in Metro Phoenix, the tournament will deliver an experience that is under supplied and much needed in our community.

The Hosts

ASU Tennis and The Tempe Diablos have partnered to deliver what is expected to be two of the best tennis tournaments in all of the NCAA. This outstanding partnership combines ASU Tennis’ national prestige with the Tempe Diablos deep civic and charitable involvement to create a strong and prestigious tournament host team. The hosts are proud to bring these tournaments to Tempe and look to build a college tournament powerhouse that will be a “must-attend” annual event for both local and national tennis fans for years to come.

The Cause

Proceeds from the events will go directly to the Tempe Diablos and Tempe Diablos Charities, the preeminent civic organization for the stewardship of impactful programs benefiting youth, and education in the Tempe community. under supplied and much needed in our community.
