The Tempe Diablos support the City of Tempe and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim by providing and managing over 100 volunteers during the Cactus League Spring Training Season at Tempe Diablo Stadium.
Diablos recruit volunteers from the community to serve as Ushers, Ticket Takers and Parking Lot Assistants during Spring Training at Tempe Diablo Stadium. At each of the home games we will have 55 to 60 volunteers in addition to 15 or so Diablos. The Diablos man the parking lots, assisted by some volunteers, and the rest of the volunteers conspire to make the Angels' guests the happiest and most pampered baseball fans in the Cactus League. Come on out to Tempe Diablo Stadium and take in a game. You will love the experience!
Opening game this year is Saturday, February 23rd. The Angels will play the Chicago Cubs. Our Charity Game will be the next day, Sunday, February 24th when the Angels will host the Oakland A's. Our Charity this year is "Rachel's Challenge" so come out, support a great program and watch a great baseball game in historic Tempe Diablo Stadium.
