The Tempe Diablos support the City of Tempe and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim by providing and managing over 100 volunteers during the Cactus League Spring Training Season.
Diablos recruit volunteers from the community to serve as Ushers, Ticket Takers, Parking Lot Assistants and Promotional Item Handout persons during Spring Training at Tempe Diablo Stadium. At each of the home games we will have 55 to 60 volunteers in addition to 15 or so Diablos. The Diablos man the parking lots, assisted by some volunteers, and the rest of the volunteers conspire to make the Angels' guests the happiest and most pampered baseball fans in the Cactus League. Come on out to Tempe Diablo Stadium and take in a game. You will love the experience! Opening game this year is Thursday, March 4th, 2010. This is our Charity Game and begins at 3:00 PM. The Angels will play the Chicago White Sox. |
