The Tempe Diablos are looking for well-rounded students who are in the top half of their class and show extracurricular involvement in the school and/or community. Applications should show strong leadership abilities, communication skills and financial need.

The Diablos have the desire to help young adults in taking steps to improve their opportunities and the communities in which they live. Financial restraints can at times make the ultimate goal difficult to reach and there can be many reasons that financial struggles exist. If you feel that the financial issue in your home might help us to gain a better understanding of your need, please provide us with that information to help us in our decision making process.

The awards vary depending upon available funding. In order to be eligible, you must meet the following:

• Be a graduate from an accredited High School and be a resident of Tempe, AZ.
• Be admitted as a full-time student (24 credit hours per academic year) at Arizona State University or a Maricopa County Community College.
• Be eligible for In-State Tuition at the university/college at which you enroll.
• Meet one of the following aptitude requirements:
  • 3.0 GPA in competency courses.
  • Top 25% of your graduating class.
  • ACT of 22 or above.
  • SAT Reasoning of 1040 or above.
• Show extracurricular involvement in your school and/or community; strong leadership abilities and communication skills.
• Financial need is not a requirement but may be considered.
